pure gold.

what a night for a dance.

From one south to the next, from the bible belt to southern california, things could not be more different.  so many of my friends warned me of this foreighn city, and its people. I have yet to of been fazed by any of it, to a point of confusion why my friends had these feelings of dislike towards los angeles.  maybe it is because i roll with the punches, i am easygoing, and it doesn’t take a black eye to make me go home crying.

To tell you the truth, i have gotten lost it in all, in its ways so different then my home.  Los Angeles, the City of Angels is a place I have come to for the summer, not sure whether or not I would fall for it. all i seem to want to do is wonder the streets, and see every little part of it.  and every night creates a fire in my bones, I get lost in the night so high I don’t want to come down.  There is a way about the city, and its people.  In the dark of the night one could almost hear her calling your name. I want to know everything’s story. every street corner. every person. every marking.  I feel like they all would speak a million words, a million words that speak of wonderfully exciting things, important things.  here, everything seems and feels famous in its own way.  I know this may sound delusional, far fetched, what have you but it’s the truth of how I feel.

you know, in context songs don’t really always apply. but they still speak to people. our brains want to relate and will there for draw a connection to a song we hear. lyrics call out to people. and today “revelry” had my attention.
